First of all, open the access area after installing the refilled ink cartridge. Place the cartridge into the print head carrier slot.
Shut down the device and again turn it on by pressing ‘Ready, Go/ Select (depends on the printer’s model) and Return’ buttons on the device for getting the diagnostics menu. Once you have done this, the printer will make a self-test process. Perform the next step once you are done with this process.
Go to the ‘Maintenance Page Count’ section. Here you can readjust the page count indicator. Either tap on the ‘Reset’ option or ‘Reset Maintenance Count’ option. Afterwards, press the ‘Select’ button.
For going back to the main page of printer menu, press the ‘Return’ button and then exit the diagnostics mode.
